Snoqualmie Valley Veterans Memorial
The Snoqualmie Valley Historical Museum in conjunction with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3436 and Renton-Pickering American Legion Post 79 has built the Snoqualmie Valley Veterans' Memorial. We worked with the City of Snoqualmie and the American Legion to build a Veterans' Memorial next to the Legion Hall. Members of the Museum, VFW and American Legion worked tirelessly behind the scenes for several years on this project and it was dedicated on November 11, 2011.
The Memorial honors of all American Veterans' from all American Wars regardless of Valley Residence, but features as its centerpiece a monument in honor of Valley Residents who lost their lives serving in the line of duty. Several members of the memorial committee along with help from various local sources compiled a list of those lost in the line of duty; you will find the current list at the Museum and at the American Legion Post 79. Included are names from Cedar Falls, North Bend, Snoqualmie, Snoqualmie Falls, Fall City, Preston, Carnation and Duvall. If we have unintentionally left off or misspelled a name of someone killed in the line of duty please contact the American Legion Post at commander@post79.org with as much information as possible so that we may verify the name.

North Bend Veterans Memorial
Renton-Pickering Post 79 has partnered with Auxiliary Unit 79, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3436 and the City of North Bend to design, plan and erect a Veterans Memorial at the newly opened North Bend City Hall. This desired and long overdue Veterans memorial is in the planning phases and it tentatively scheduled to be publicly unveiled on Memorial Day 2020. As the project progresses, we will update our supporters for attendance of the unveiling. (Updated Nov 2019)
